Jeannie Sanders spent 21 years with Siemens before starting her leadership consulting business.

Since she launched her company in 2019, she has lead small and large companies through her unique and challenging G.R.I.T. Leadership Program Experience where she and her husband lead clients through leadership seminars and outside challenges with a military flare taking people out of their comfort zone for tremendous growth in life and career.

Jeannie grew up in Florida and began her career in 1998 while attending UCF in Orlando, Florida and was quickly introduced to the prestigious Sales and Marketing Training Program, developing her to become a field sales engineer for Siemens Energy. After several years calling on top utility customers, she returned to Siemens’ corporate offices where she was responsible for US Sales Operations, for a sales team of 190 professionals and executives, reporting to the President of Energy Sales.

During her time in sales, Jeannie also held various diversity leadership positions as Chairman of the Energy Women’s Resource Group, the Siemens Energy Diversity Council and the National Women’s Resource Group, leading the “Multiply the Impact” conference in Orlando, FL attended by 500 women across all Siemens divisions.

Externally, she held leadership positions as a member of University of Maryland’s Women in Engineering Advisory Board and part time facilitator at Orlando’s House of Hope - home for healing teens - as the creator and instructor of her “Personal and Professional Life Skills Program”, and was 1 of 3 individuals including the Assistant Dean of Engineering, to create UCF’s Society of Sales Engineering. Due to her exemplary diversity leadership for Siemens Energy, Jeannie was invited to participate in Siemens’ Chief Diversity Officer leadership program where she shadowed the CEO of a Siemens Healthcare business in Singapore and India.

Later in her career, due to her successes in hiring Junior Military Officers into the Sales Development Program and after being recognized in the Wall Street Journal, Jeannie was invited to share her story at the White House during a meeting with Joining Forces program lead, in Michelle Obama’s East Wing office.

It was during that visit to Washington, D.C., Jeannie was asked by HR executive management to take a new role outside of Energy Sales and in Siemens Corporate HR. She then became responsible for creating and maintaining strategic relationships with Siemens partner universities and has been recognized as a global expert in the area of talent development programs. Over her 5 years in HR, Sanders has guest lectured and spoken to thousands of students at over 30 colleges and universities across the US including Stanford, Texas A&M, UF, UCF, and Cal Poly.
